With gyms offering free trials of their workout apps to the plethora of fitness gurus live-streaming their own workouts, there are countless free fitness resources available online to pick from.

Free Workout App Trials

Peloton App

Fitness equipment brand Peloton is offering a free 90-day trial of their app, which offers thousands of live and on-demand classes. No bike? No problem! Their classes cover a range of workouts beyond cycling- choose from strength, toning, yoga, and more.

Nike Training Club

Athletic giant Nike has, for a limited time, waived the subscription fee for their subscription-based service, the Nike Training Club. Stream studio-style workouts, take part in progressive training programs, and receive expert tips from trainers. Read the full announcement.

Daily Burn

Popular fitness app Daily Burn creates tailored workout programs based on your personal goals and current fitness levels. They are currently offering a free 60-day trial to their programs, which offers a variety of workouts from barre to kickboxing and more.

DownDog

Yoga more your thing? Yoga app DownDog is free for all users until May 1st, and free for students, teachers, and healthcare professionals until July 1st. While the app’s focus is on yoga, they also offer HIIT, barre, and quick 7-minute workouts.

Athletic apparel brand Lululemon is streaming new content daily with Instagram Live. They’re offering a mix of at-home workouts, self-care tips, and more. View their weekly schedule on instagram.

YMCA 360

While it may be fun to stay at the YMCA, right now they recognize the need for the public to stay home. With the launch of YMCA 360, you can now watch on-demand classes and videos from the Y on any device from the comfort of your own home.

Don Saladino

Celebrity personal trainer Don Saladino, known for training Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, and more, is offering a free 4-week bodyweight training program. Requiring no equipment, these workouts can be done in the comfort of your own home. In addition, Saladino will be going live on his Instagram daily with 20-30 minute bodyweight workouts that you can follow along with.

Gym Chains

Even though your gym or fitness club may be closed due to COVID-19 health concerns, chances are they are offering content that can be accessed from home. For example, Orangetheory has put together Orangetheory At Home, a collection of daily workout videos as well as helpful articles and guides to help you stay healthy. And Planet Fitness is offering “Home Work-ins”, free live workouts streamed daily on their Facebook. Check your gym’s website to find out what type of online content they offer.

ClassPass

ClassPass, the popular app for finding and signing up for various fitness classes, is offering free access to on-demand videos during this time. For paid virtual classes, they are waiving their service fee until June 1st, meaning that all proceeds will go to the studio you are taking the course from.
